A mythic, musical journey to the underworld and back.
Step into a world where the ancient myths echo with new meaning, and the line between love and fear is as fragile as a song.
Hadestown: Teen Edition is a powerful retelling of two timeless tales — that of Orpheus and Eurydice, and Hades and Persephone. Set in a vivid, post-apocalyptic New Orleans–inspired landscape infused with folk, jazz, blues, and Broadway flair, this bold musical invites audiences to follow young Orpheus on a perilous journey to the underworld to rescue his beloved Eurydice.
As the seasons freeze over and the world grows colder, Eurydice is lured into the promises of Hadestown — a mechanized, industrial world ruled by the distant and formidable Hades. Orpheus must brave the harsh terrain, confront the gods, and sing a song so true it can change the fate of both the living and the dead.
Guided by the charismatic narrator Hermes, watched over by the haunting Fates, and uplifted by a powerful chorus of Workers, Hadestown: Teen Edition explores themes of hope, sacrifice, freedom, and the cost of love in a broken world.
Adapted for young performers while preserving the integrity and poetry of the original Broadway hit, this version brings the story’s emotional resonance and theatrical magic to a new generation.
Come see why the road to Hadestown is one you’ll never forget — and why the journey matters, even if the ending stays the same.
