Mini Company- Little Orphan Annie
Show: Little Orphan Annie
Little Orphan Annie tells the heartwarming story of a spunky young girl with big dreams and an even bigger heart. Living in a dreary orphanage under the watchful eye of the grumpy Miss Hannigan, Annie refuses to give up hope that her parents will return for her one day. When she is invited to spend Christmas at the home of the wealthy and lonely Oliver Warbucks, Annie’s optimism begins to change everyone around her. Filled with friendship, adventure, and unforgettable songs about hope and tomorrow, this classic story reminds us that family is not just who you are born to, it is who loves you.
Class description
This musical theatre class invites our youngest performers to explore storytelling, music, and movement through imaginative play right here in our community. Throughout the session, students work with experienced theatre professionals to learn songs, age-appropriate choreography, and help create simple costume and character pieces inspired by Little Orphan Annie.
The class builds toward a joyful final performance for family and friends, giving each child a moment to shine on stage. Along the way, students gain confidence, collaboration skills, and a hands-on understanding of what it takes to bring a musical to life in a supportive and encouraging environment.
