Horton Hears a Who

CLASS DESCRIPTION

This musical theatre class encourages our youngest actors to discover their artistic voice through creative play right here in Chesterton! Over the course of the class, your actor, under the guidance of Theatre Professionals, will learn songs, original choreography, and construct costumes based on this short musical adapted especially for their age group. The class culminates in a finale performance for the family. This class offers an all-encompassing look at what goes into staging a Theatre production in an experienced, safe and nurturing atmosphere.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Get ready to dive into the wild and whimsical world of Horton Hears a Who! This heartwarming adventure follows Horton the Elephant as he discovers a tiny world living on a speck of dust—and vows to protect it, no matter what. Faced with doubters, bullies, and a jungle full of noise, Horton stands firm with one powerful truth: “a person's a person, no matter how small.” With humor, heart, and unforgettable characters, this story celebrates courage, kindness, and the power of believing in the unseen.
