Kids & Youth:
Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr.

We’re bringing our Kids and Youth companies together for an exciting production of The Little Mermaid Jr. This is a full-scale musical theatre experience where young performers don’t just learn about theatre, they live it.

From the first read-through to the final bow, campers will be part of a fast-paced, professional-style rehearsal process that builds confidence, skills, and a true sense of ensemble.

With our expanded program, we’re able to welcome more aspiring performers than ever before while still maintaining the high level of training and production quality Playact is known for.

What campers will experience:

• Character development
• Vocal training focused on musical theatre style and storytelling
• Choreography and movement for stage
• Scene work, blocking, and stage direction
• Ensemble building and collaboration
• Rehearsal discipline in a professional-style environment
• Technical elements including staging, lighting, and performance flow
